We have known and appreciated each other for years.

During this time, we have repeatedly and intensively exchanged ideas about up-to-date organisation and implementation of events. This has involved a multitude of questions: What is the meaning, purpose and benefit of a congress, conference, meeting, or event? What about sustainability in our industry? What role does community building play? Which type of communication is needed today? In which way are partners/sponsors involved at an early stage in the planning? This constructive exchange was and is valuable—it forms the basis for our cooperation and partnership.

I have been active in the field of congress and event organisation for over twenty years with the agency CBS Congress Management GmbH. A complete overview can be found at www.cbs‐congress.ch. My team and I have been organising national and international events in Switzerland and abroad for renowned clients since 1996.

As an independent and owner-managed company, we are pleased to support long-standing clients and new clients from Switzerland and abroad with their events. Competence, experience, reliability as well as responsible and respectful conduct distinguish us. With my additional training as an organisational consultant and coach, I complement the conceptualisation and organisation of congresses, meetings and events with new knowledge. I also support companies and organisations in the development of new concepts and organise workshops on creativity and innovation.

At the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, I am a lecturer in CAS Event-Management. My aim in the development and implementation of congresses, meetings and events focuses on the organiser’s objectives and creating the highest possible additional benefit. Every event should be a successful and tailor-made, unique event that fully meets the high expectations of the participants.

For over twenty years, I have been working with the event agency friedevents AG in congress and event organisation. My staff and I form an efficient and goal-oriented team that is able to professionally organise and implement events of all kinds. My professional background is in the banking industry. I deepened my knowledge in various banking institutions in London, Los Angeles, Geneva, Basel and Zurich and then worked mainly in investment consulting. Even then, I appreciated and cultivated direct client contact, which gives me great pleasure. My affinity for numbers, which benefited me in investment consulting, also flows into my daily work as an event manager today. My aim is to organise and implement events precisely from A to Z with the help of the latest IT tools. It is very important to me to see each event as a whole and to balance the various interests of all participants.

My work as an event organiser inspires me every day. My approach is in line with current developments in the industry, which I follow closely. I implement the projects entrusted to me with energy, professionalism, and sound judgement. In doing so, I follow my credo: professional, committed and passionate.
